A bright, spacious, modern, purpose built day nursery that is both beautiful and practical and where the emphasis on individual needs are paramount. Our registered day care facilities cater for children between the ages of 3 months to 5 years old. Open 8am to 6pm, 51 weeks of the year.

Education
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and cover 6 key areas of child development. We provide a safe and secure environment that allows your child to learn and develop at their own pace.
One big family
We run our nursery like one big family and since day 1 have tried to make our centres feel warm and inviting and the kind of place you feel happy to leave your child for the day. This is something we have never lost sight of in our 25+ years operating.

How do you make sure my little one stays safe and happy at nursery?
Stockport Village Nursery has beautiful purpose-built facilities to help stimulate children with rich challenging play experiences including: creativity, music, movement, imagination and natural curiosity.
Does the nursery have outdoor play facilities?
A generous outdoor play area can be used in all weather conditions. From March through to October we work on a free flow play system which allows children the opportunity to use their own outdoor area continuously throughout the day. The doors are left open, and it is just an extension of the room, fully supervised of course.
How does the nursery support children's development?
Stockport Village Nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is a framework put together by the DCSF (Department for Children, Schools, and families). It covers ages 0 – 5 years and focuses on the following seven areas of development:

Our son has been at Stockport Village Nursery since he was 9 months old and we have been so happy with the care he has received. At every stage staff have been brilliant and it’s clear from speaking to them at drop off and pick up each day that they really care about getting to know the children well. Our little boy is 3.5 now and comes running out happily every night full of stories about his day. We are so glad we chose to send him here.
Both my boys have been really happy at Stockport Village Nursery - youngest has another year there before starting school and runs in happily every morning. All rooms have doors that open to outside space and there are pets - a tortoise and the owner's dog. A wonderful environment for learning through play, supporting each child in their unique journey of development
I have sent both of my daughters here on recommendation from my sister and her three girls. All of our children enjoy attending the nursery and are welcomed with open arms. I’ve noticed my youngest already independently walks into nursery and has made progress very quickly here, even though she is part time. It’s a great nursery, which is why I travel here rather than have my children based at a nursery more local.
My son has been coming to this nursery for the last 2 years. He has grown so much in confidence thanks to the staff, he loves each and every day he is there. The whole team are a credit to the nursery. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.
My little boy has attended this nursery since he was 8months old, he absolute loves it, seeing him confidently run in every morning and never having a cry at drop off shows how much he loves his nursery and the staff are all amazing. His development and progress he’s made for being 2.5 years old is down to the dedication of the staff working alongside parents. Honestly wouldn’t send my children anywhere else.
My daughter has been attending SVN for just over 2 years now and she has come on leaps and bounds since! The staff are friendly, approachable and fun. She always comes home and talks about how they make her smile and giggle. It's so daunting putting your child into nursery however I feel so comfortable and safe knowing she's there. Our second baby is on their way and I'm sure she'll settle in SVN just as well as our first did.
Stockport village nursery is hands down the best nursery in the area, I travel over 25 minutes every day to drop my little one here and wouldn’t have it any other way. The facilities they have, the team, the level of care it’s just very clear to me that this is an Independent family run nursery. I cannot recommend more!
