Welcome to Stockport Village Nursery, probably one of the most beautiful day nurseries you’ll ever see. Here we ask ourselves the same question every day – “What’s it like for a child here?” Is it warm, fun, exciting and loving?

Stockport Village Nursery is pretty, bright, spacious and purpose built. We are in the centre of Stockport town, conveniently situated for workers and residents.
Children from 3mths to 5yrs are cared for and supported in age appropriate rooms with a high ratio of experienced, qualified, long serving staff. We really are like a family here with most staff serving over 6 years. Also every member of staff is trained in Paediatric 1st aid. It’s important that little ones are allowed to learn through play which is why we are constantly restocking our ever expanding resources. Although we have a large team of 30+ full time staff, the staff structure is very easy to follow. All rooms have a head and a deputy plus senior and junior team members. All supervisors hold a level 3 qualification appropriate for the care or development of children. Where this cannot be achieved immediately, providers set out an action plan detailing how they intend to meet this criterion and in what timescale. Ofsted will consider the plan offering their approval or indicating aspects that need improvements
